oldest form of chat on the net. if you don't know how to use it at least halfassedly, you should bite your tongue when you think about referring to yourself as Anonymous. It's not that hard to get the basics and there's a plethora of how-tos out there. in an effort to increase communication within COanon and with other cells I have created an IRC chatroom on AnonNet (where 99% of the other chanology cells and WWP and ScanChan and several other elements of Anon do their IRCing)

Don't be afraid to wander around anonnet either. All your favorite Chan/ology personalities are there lol (ie: moot, Stu Wyatt, NewYorkNurse/AnonLittleSister, herro, etc)

Do however keep in mind that irc admins will be able to see all your internets dox, so if you have a means of proxying or VPNing to the server (the server detects and kicks standard proxies) I'd encourage you to do so. If not, I wouldn't be too worried unless you're planning to be an uber annoying troll or start shit with popular fags or the admins. Also keep in mind that the ppl in charge on anonnet are the same ppl in charge of WWP and EncyclopediaDramatica and pissing them off in one place tends to get you b& in the others lately. if you try to use the anonnet irc and nobody's there, it's a temporary condition. apparently r3x (or so I hear) is raiding anonnet and causing hugelikexbox netsplits.
